•Lorenzo Ampil is a Machine Learning Product Manager and Data Scientist, currently working at Thinking Machines Data Science. He specializes in developing products that utilize deep learning, machine learning, and NLP for various industries, including healthcare and finance.
As a data scientist with domain expertise in finance, he spends his free time working on how to democratize quantitative analysis to a wider audience. He does this by building out fastquant, a free software package available on R and Python, that aims to make data driven investments available to everyone. He currently leads a team of contributor quant developers to make this vision come to life.
