Healthcare AI — Where Are We?

We started Tau Ventures in 2019 with the fundamental premise that the inflection point of AI was near. Specifically our thesis was predicated on the quadrant below, where people refers to people qualified enough to apply AI. Now in 2023 we believe we are near the peak of inflated expectations. But we also fundamentally believe that the plateau of productivity is going to lead to tectonic shifts. Amit Garg I have been in Silicon Valley for 20 years -- at Samsung NEXT Ventures, running my own startup (as of May 2019 a series D that has raised $120M and valued at $450M), at Norwest Ventures, and doing product and analytics at Google.
